French University of America™  (FUA) is the US campus of the Université de France which was founded on May 19, 1806, by Empereur Napoléon I named originally  "Université Impériale", It is registered in the USA under LLC 32023-03-123 . French University of America™ applies the VAE process (Validation of Acquired Experience) also known as PLR) that may grant any Degree in any field on Experience. Degrees  follow the US Curriculum  (Bachelor, Master, LL.M, Doctorate, Ph.D., Post doctorate). The university may exceptionally grant Honoris Causa Degree. It is regulated by the US Federal and Territory laws.

The Ad Eundem and VAE (Validation of Acquired Experience) juries are made of University professors of the field. The Jury decision is final. In the case of a positive decision rendered through a majority of the jury. The degree will be sent electronically in pdf format.   It will later sent by post in PDF format together with the UNESCO diploma supplement.

Ad Eundem 

Created by Oxford University in 1516 the s Ad Eundem degree (in correct  Latin: Ad Eundem Gradum) is awarded through equivalency of another degree from another foreign universities. This process allows to obtain a prestigious degree from Université Française or French University of America. through equivalency of Foreign studies.

 

VAE (Validation of Acquired Experience) 

The VAE process started in France in 2002, through the  "Loi de Modernisation Sociale".  French  Universities, through the VAE, may grant any degree in any field through Experiencer.. As of June 2023, more than 230 000 degrees were granted through the VAE.. The  VAE replaces  remplace examinations and controls. It is not a degree but a way to obtain a regular one .Our VAE juries may apply the following equivalency:. 3 years of qualified experience may be equivalent to one year of classical studies. .As we apply the "Bologna declaration" system, 9 years of validated experience may bring you a regular Bachelor degree. This rule applies also to Master, LL.M (lergum Magiszter) & Doctorate, Ph.D levels, Previous studies may be added if related to the major.. Please note that US Immigration service applies this ratio for H1B visas.
